Yes.

Anyway, the resignation of the Chancellor is imminent, so I hear. But that does not solve the problem of police excesses particularly when it is non violent.

As you had said and I agree, that the footsteps sounded so eerie. That is how much the silent and non-violent the protest was.

No question the cops blew it........but I sense they feel emboldened. For the past two years, the cops here have been acting much more hard core.......as we saw when the 84 year old lady got pepper sprayed.

I sense the schism in this country is growing deeper........and cops by their very nature tend to be conservative.
