We believe in fairness , just living , protection under the law & democracy here yet by virtue of just participating in our society we automatically burden other spheres with demands of our consumption, needs and our just & holy Wars . Its been a blessing too for China, Asia & Brazil enabling them to do the same and nothing will fix the economy other than that which essentially increases consumer spending . That is the essential "core economic" factor of the entire deal in a nutshell , always was . Now we have consumption attempting to go parabolic , a silly concept really if one has a long term vision ...of course with heaven waiting the entire earth is the new sacrifice .

Taking on the label of "Christian" doesn't really inform anyone about anything they really are regardless of the "core beliefs" or not , there's no huge secret answer being divulged now rising out of that religious sphere and one only hopes the Arabs are sercretly providing for their future too when the oil tap runs dry .

Austerity & Simplicity ...the greatest message of Christ

There is the word "austerity" that is on everyone's lips , i am so surprised to the max that Christians have not jumped on that for it was one of Jesus' main messages . One can only conclude we're not talking Christians here but modern day Pharisees that like brumar have turned the quest into a political power struggle when he should be talking "austerity " and a frugal material minimalism all the way .

Ahem ...the greatest message of the Christ was non dependence on material things , have we heard brumar or greg talk about this once ? No, not these pharisees , its all political with them , which is true Darwinism at play , just ask good old Warren Buffet who wants to pay more taxes while he makes billions under the table !

;)

Yeah, its not like Christians have creeds specifying their core beliefs or anything.
