IMO, civilzation (in the west) got its real start with the ancient Greeks 500 BC. The sophistication of their thought was truly amazing.

Then we went into the dark ages for 2,000 years after Rome destroyed Greece. I cannot think of one thinker after that to compare with the likes lof Plato or any number of Greek thinkers until the enlightenment.

The secular humanists always protected religious rights better than any religion ever did, with a few exceptions, like the Buddhists or Confucious who were quite enlightened and had peace and kindness as their core belief system.

Had the ancient Greek libraries not been destroyed (less than 1% survived it is estimated) civilzation would be 1,000 years ahead of where it is today. Plato and that group, if they awoke today could start teaching at Harvard after a short time to catch up.

Since any demonstration of of the supernatural has always been seen lacking

That's what's at issue on this thread. I maintain the universe and life ARE a demonstration of the supernatural and science has revealed this to be true as never before. The problem is it doesn't fit you materialist's faith-based worldview and you get all nasty about it.

So you "militant Pharisee's" "collective minds" erect your "imagined and superimposed strawmen" to wage "jihads" and "reactionary wars" against the obvious.

"In short , discrediting intelligent design isn't the issue but the demonstration of the strength of your integrity to grow is", as science has only in the last century manifestly demonstrated the necessity for a higher.

Haven't you heard?! The universe is a demonstration of the supernatural. And so is Science! In other words, what is keeping you from believing in supernatural beings? Don't you know that Reason and Science are Whores? You need to give it up. Medicine is crap. Here is the supernatural cure for leprosy. And believe me--it works.

Leviticus 14:2-52)

"This shall be the law of the leper."

First you get two birds. Kill one of them and dip the live bird in the blood of the dead one. Sprinkle the blood on the leper seven times, and then let the blood-soaked bird fly away. Next you must find a lamb and give death unto it. Wipe some of its blood on the patient's right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle seven times with oil and wipe some of the oil on his right ear, thumb and big toe. Repeat. Almost done! Now you must catch another pair of birds. Kill one of these and dip the live bird in the dead bird's blood. Wipe some blood on the patient's right ear, thumb, and big toe. Sprinkle the house with blood 7 times. All cured!

The reason this works so well is that leprosy is caused by Mycobacterium leprae bacteria and this is the best way to kill that bacteria. Supernatural medicine will work on everything but it has to be done exactly in the right way. For instance this is useless against warts or boils. For that there are other cures but mostly if you do a lot of things seven times you will be curing something or other even if you don't knowing about it. Put your trust in the Supernatural because these cures come directly from God and THEY WORK, DAMM IT! And if God doesn't know how to kill Mycobacterium leprae...then who does?? Forget those crappy medical so-called cures! Eat a book. Or lie on your left side for 230 days. Start curing things properly.

Glad to help. Have a great day in Christ and the Virgin Mary!
