If they adjust the process to produce heavier MW's they will also get less of the non-condensable gasses. That means they need to purchase more natural gas to run the process.

And it seems odd that they would reduce naphtha production in order to get more #6. Sounds like they have a serious problem selling the naphtha.

I think Honest John used his (former) Occidental contact who hooked him up with Islechem to also push the P2O output on Oxy Vinyl - at least enough for Oxy to "test" while the stock promoters hyped.
