Jim,

Interesting comments from Compaq. I used to follow the Cyrix thread months ago and they always said that Intel had less of a hold in Europe than did Cyrix and AMD. If this still holds true, then I could see that Compaq would benefit from increased sales of the less than $1000 PC's over there.

Did you all see the IBD short that Dell has a year 2000 fix for its computers right on their website, you can apparently fix yours from there if its a Dell.
