Pete, 8000 by tomorrow? Sure it looks that way. NYSE volume is brisk, though it pales in comparison to the post-mini-crash volume. Nasdaq volume is pitiful. Naz bulls are fleeing back to DOW stocks?

Pete, new highs seem like a sure thing. Now maybe I jinxed myself and the mkt will go down. I will remind you of something I quoted from the Sept. issue of the Richebacher letter "...in the US cash holdings relative to stock and bond holdings are down to their lowest level in history, beating even the lows of the late 1920's. " Pete, at some point enough people will decide to increase their cash position and they will discover how illiquid stocks become under heavy selling pressure. Notice insider sales. To be a bull you must be a believer in the new era nonsense ;I don't believe it. BTW Richebacher was in the Mkt Watch section of Barron's 11/17/97.
