The left is not a monolith. If I were to have insulted Mrs Bush then I would agree it would be hypocritical for me to criticise another who has engaged in the same activity. But it is not not hypocritical if I am not the person who has personally done the same thing I am criticising. By the way I agree the contemptive insults aimed at the family members is in my opinion very bad taste.
