lorne, To bad this tactic is not applied to inept school teachers who are protected by far left commie union thugs with their job for life

You do not know what you are talking about with inept school teachers being protected by the unions. I know, since I have been on both sides, defending teachers as an NEA rep. and as a Principal where I have terminated insubordinate tenured teachers.

However, when you have administrators giving elevated evaluations to what you said is an inept teacher, and then trying to terminate a teacher on incompetency, you have incompetent management. Then, in the smaller districts you have teachers who are related to community members and in some cases school board members.

Our society is based on due process under the law. Guess you wish to take away the due process and just cause rights of those who are entitled to fair treatment. You must be an autocratic commonly referred as a dictator in your views who want to take away the freedom of others, until it happens to themselves.

We have all had teachers who were terrible. Hiring mistakes were made, and unions made it difficult in getting rid of them. Education was secondary to the unions.
