What makes it different? Strong balance sheet, industry leading products, good, experienced management and just a real big over-reaction to the one quarter earnings disappointment. Too many people said to their broker "sell at the Market" and the stock went down below where it deserved to be. IMHO anyway.

In addition, BMC had to gear up to deal with the expected surge in demand for DTV sets. With HDTV, DTV and the convergence of PC's, there will just be a whole new demand equation for Invar masks and that is what BMC was trying to anticipate. A small disappointment in earnings one qtr and pizzam, the best investment opportunity of the recent past materializes. IMHO, Lots of weak hands and momentum players just got the old whip saw.
