A little follow on to the Group and SOXM(SOX) table just shown.

The chart collage shows the major indices and some of the Group stocks over a 3 month period. The collage should be viewed along with the Group and SOXM(SOX) table.

Note that a bottom occurred the week ending 9/30. It took 2 big down weeks to get there. Obviously all stocks were oversold. Then we had a 2 week rebound to essentially null out the 2 weeks down. The Group went from 331.95 to 298.00 to 349.79, while the SOX went from 381.91 to 338.82 to 380.86.

The stage is set for the same type of recovery over the next week or two. In the last 2 weeks the sell off has been extreme, and the stocks are oversold. Certainly the downtrend "could" continue, but the odds are strong that some sort of a snapback is in the cards.
