I appreciate your convictions and arguments, my friend, but I think the way forward is to search for solutions to permanently rid the country of illegals aliens, rather than proposing and enacting ways to accommodate them as Obama, Gingrich, Perry, and others have done. From my perspective, none of them have good ideas on the topic. I much prefer Michele Bachmann's ideas, and I also believe that my proposed 10 steps [1] are realistic. I strongly believe that with the right President and the right Congress in power, permanently solving the problem of illegal immigration and ridding the country of all illegal immigrants is very possible. Electing a federal government that makes it a felony to employ, sell to, or conduct any form of commerce with an illegal alien would be a great start. A federal law that freezes all of the assets of illegals on U.S. soil is another way to get their attention and force their hand to voluntarily leave. Also, I do not believe a border fence is a feasible solution. Making it nearly impossible for anyone who is not a U.S. citizen to live in our country is a better idea. With such laws in place, they can walk over here all they want to, but if they cannot buy a loaf of bread or rent an apartment, they won't have many options by to return home. 1. Ten key steps to the total removal of illegal aliens: Step 1: Elect a Congress and President who vow to find and deport all illegal immigrants from U.S. soil. Step 2: Enact a law that makes illegal immigration a felony Step 3: Enact a law that retroactively removes citizenship from the anchor-descendants of illegal aliens Step 4: Enact a law that requires the federal government to freeze and confiscate all assets (money, accounts, property, precious metals) from illegal aliens in the United States Step 5: Enact a law that makes hiring an illegal alien a felony Step 6: Enact a law that makes renting or selling housing or transportation to an illegal alien a felony Step 7: Enact a law that requires citizens to report suspected illegal aliens to ICE Step 8: Announce that the United States will no longer tolerate illegal immigration in any form. Officially state that illegals must leave peacefully now with their personal belongings, or suffer severe financial and legal consequences in addition to being forcibly deported. Step 9: Recall troops from foreign wars and position them along the southern U.S. border with orders to shoot to kill invaders. Step 10: Find and systematically deport all illegal aliens and their anchor descendants remaining on U.S. soil.
