It was EDO. Standard and EDO were the same price.

Do you have a Best Buy up there?
This one has a Comp USA right across the street and they were selling 16MB (STD or EDO) for $49.99 AFTER a $10 mail-in rebate.
32MB for $79.99 after a $20 mail-in rebate.

The COMP USA usually ALWAYS meets or beats Best Buys prices, but they couldn't seem to manage it this time.

Best Buy's was $34.99/16MB BEFORE a $20.00 rebate!!!
I'll beleive the rebate when I see it.
The only thing I can figure is that they made a mistake with the rebate.
35 bucks for 16MB is already dirt cheap. 15 bucks (after rebate) would be ridiculous.
Like I said though after all the crap I've suffered from Best Buy, they owe me.

I paid alot more for mine just a few months back, it was EDO chips, what types your's?

Now you know why NOT to invest in the DRAM makers.<G>

As I recall it was about $79-99/16MB just a couple months back.
Wasn't that long ago and it was $129-149/16MB.

Gee, ya don't suppose the Taiwanese are dumping chips on the market do ya?<G>
