It's all relative. I like to think of myself as a contrarian. I've seen more negativity but not that much more than we had a few months back. I have seen more oversold markets though for sure than we got in early October. I have seen more fear that things would never get better.

Much more....

If we get that kind of fear again when the bottom falls out in Europe as I believe it will do we might.

That might not do it. It may not happen until later. I think most people here realize that with the current work ethic of our youth today that we truly have no hope of balancing our budget and keeping the current social security and medicare benefits in place. When they take that false sense of security away from the baby boomers then we might see real fear and a real bottom.

Raise taxes on retired people? It's not going to help much. Tax kids who are more interested in partying than actually studying and working at a good job? That's not going to work.

Until then just keep trading stocks.
