E! AMAT did not disappoint - far from it 0.49 vs. expected 0.46, strong revenues and fat backlog. With the slight caution of what they say at the conference call, the equip-sector should rebound smartly tomorrow. I've placed a sizable bet on the sector - 18% thus far - so I'm hoping tomorrow we shoot up! The sector has taken too much of a pounding recently. My contention has always been that their customers have to keep buying equipment or their customers become also rans ie., toast. SEA where-ist-the-capital-going-to-come-from-issues will resurface later. For now life is good.
