OK, tejek. I cede the point. I'll stop calling what I want a "free" market. Instead, what I want is a regulated market that allows market forces to punish the people who took too much risk. I'd like my regulated market to be free of government bailouts of bad actors. In addition, I'd like my regulated market to be enforced by a VERY active alphabet soup of regulators who prosecute and imprison banksters and Wall Street types who break the law. That is part of the secret sauce that made this country great. I want all of that back. I hate what this country has become in the last 30 years.
