I strongly agree, GZ. I feel the exact same way about my favorite candidate, Tea Party Republican Michele Bachmann. After she won the Iowa straw poll, the mass media simple decided that they wanted no part of her and they stopped covering her campaign.

Recall that Jay Rosen of The New York Times was caught on a private video ridiculing her after her Iowa straw poll win and laughing about "crazy stuff coming out of her mouth" [1].

Are these impartial journalists or paid political hacks for the Left?

Notice how we are suddenly steered toward a very weak and moderate Gingrich like we were suddenly steered toward a very weak and moderate McCain in 2008. Notice the similarities? Recall that McCain's candidacy was deemed finished when he suddenly emerged as the primary leader. The same seems to be happening with Gingrich, much to the dismay of many true Conservatives. Many conservatives will simply sit home rather than vote for Gingrich, just as they sat out on Juan "Amnesty" McShame, which I fear could bring us four more years of Obama.

Again, the mass media propels us to a choice of "the lessor of two evils", where they are pushing a weak "conservative" RINO against their anointed token candidate. -ng-

If we place two black guys in the white house back to back......

those making their living screaming racism will be screwed.

You can't elect two black P's in a row and be a racist nation.

Cain needs to survive.

Even if he's not the best candidate, he might be the one who needs to win.

Talk about turning the tables.......

from Weekly Standard Blog by John McCormack

Rep. Allen West, a Tea Party favorite from Florida, tells radio station WMAL that Herman Cain is a "distracter":

Republican Presidential candidate Herman Cain has become a distraction in the race, says GOP Congressman Allen West.

"Beyond reassessing his campaign, he probably needs to understand that he is a distracter for what's going on right now and we should move on," said West, a Republican congressman who represents Florida.
