Religion's a primeval crutch for people who can't maintain a conscience or control themselves without the fear of some big invisible bearded man in the clouds monitoring their behavior and the promise of being forgiven and staying out of a very warm place if they just keep the tithe coming. It has its place in society by containing some really gullible people who may be more dangerous without it Of course it also has its dangers in inciting radical behavior Wouldn't you agree?
