I was thinking about the difference in mind sets between longs and shorts. Not these pros who switch back and forth several times in one day but the committed shorters. The ones who aggressively pursue a stock that has risen sharply and then pummel them. These are just some idle ramblings I have after shell shock of these past two days.

Like, some of these guys will WATCH a stock go from 1/4 to 2 1/2, a ten fold increase, and THEN short it down to 1 for but a 60 % profit?

Like, longs point to the moon landing and praise; shorts point to the Challenger explosion and criticize.

Like, are shorters people who were bullies when they were kids?

Like, longs see the glass 1/2 full; shorters see it 1/2 empty?

Like, longs are optimists and shorts are pessimists?

Like, if you were stranded on a desert island looking for food and shelter, would you rather have a long or a shorter as your partner?

Like, don't you just pity the children of ShortSlime?

Too much negativity for me.

DO NOT DESPAIR, SHORTY WILL GET HIS IN THE END.
