Not a good report, but better than nothing. Holiday employment involved. The Canadian dollar and Euro shot up against the Dollar following the report. More de facto devaluation. Hopefully this Euro-trade will come to an end next year.

ken....Private Sector added 140,000 jobs in November and unemployment rate dropped to 8.6%."...

Lets all hope that those who are instrumental in improving the economy...the market... don't jump the gun by believing that hussein obama is going to be dumped/booted out of the White House in 2012 so why wait wait to improve things for Americans....gees that would make it appear that hussein is doing the right thing for the economy and that would be IMO... a disaster for the USA.

Socialists/commies/marxist NEVER do what is good for the little people, they do what is of benefit to them and their ability to RULE the little people...Soviet Union, Burma, China...etc.

You kenny are one of the little people.

Good news though the data does not reflect those who are not actively looking for jobs and the increase in part-time jobs. I know you desperately want to spin this as a positive for Obama, but the truth is that the news is in spite of Obama's job killing policies.

Private Sector added 140,000 jobs in November and unemployment rate dropped to 8.6%.

since unemployment is calculated as a 'rate', in theory, after everyone lost their jobs, the unemployment rate would become zero. in other words, the longer the unemployment rate increases or stays high, the easier it is for the rate to decrease.

comparing total employed to total unemployed, as a percentage, would be more illuminating. if we if we looked at that, historically, i think we'd see we are in very bad shape right now.

Kenneth and Joe, Nonsense....as usual. What a fukking sorry excuse for a human you are....

it is sad that individuals like some of those extremist on this site result go to personalizing, and polarizing individuals who have differing opinions than they. I would like to see these same individuals problem-solve and come up with some creative solutions to the problems.

Joe, ask some creative questions and makes positive suggestions which we can examine and see whether our belief systems agree with his suggestion as viable solutions. This is great even though Joe, Kenneth, and I may agree to disagree on some on the solutions and outcome. Then, we can have a creative dialogue.
