True. Note the word "private". That says it all.

It is good news, but unfortunately is seasonal in nature, and the majority of the jobs are part-time.

I’m sure we will see many a politician boasting that the jobless rate has fallen to 8.6%, that job creation is happening, and that “we are going in the right direction.” The focus will not be on the hundreds of thousands of people who have given up looking for work in the U.S.

>i>140,000 new private sector jobs is good news - no matter how your spin it.

It is very good news, but not for Obama_the_Failure, nor for his sycophant apologists such as you and your ilk.

Nobody cares this month, and nobody is paying attention. Wall St does not seem to be as thrilled as you portray it, after digesting the numbers.
What are you going to do in Feb or March, when the rate inches back up to 9%, and it is 3 months closer to the election, and it appears that Obama has blown it AGAIN, and will be held accountable?

Yes, kenny_troll, VERY GOOD NEWS, indeed, and I hope this helps, and brightens up your gloomy day a little.

Well, not actually.....but it is better than shedding jobs.....as you were fond of pointing out during the Bush years...the economy needs to grow at least 250,000 to 300,000 jobs to reverse the decline......let's hope it marks a favorable trend.....
