I think rather than looking at total reserves, you need to look at reserve life. Overall, I think SU and COSWF are way more similar than different. When i bought COSWF, I noticed that the stocks have diverged and COSWF was temporarily cheaper. Both should do well, if crude stays high, the economic framework in Canada stays the same and they don't screw up in their operations.
