Daniel, I'm curious as to why your so down on compaq? I own alot of it and would appreciate your thought on subject. Truthfully I think compaq has a bright future? What gives? Sincerely, Ken

DM, I would think being one of the first management hires at cpq and hired by the CFO and being the mis mgr in manufacturing from 1983 to 1993 and my dept deployed all their manufacturing technologies from rf data collection to buyer workstations and EDI and I deployed one of the first ELM's in the USA.... So, ask me any detailed question and I will give you a detailed answered. But, be aware..I'm not a techie..I hired techies but my charter was to within a business frame deploy technology and systems to enable users to acheive goals.... So, my group improved the quality of processes while drastically redcuing cost and cycle times... no handing users a peice of technology and say " be happy". we were accountable too for buiness goals. Others who were on the insdie of the business have posted that i am who I say i am... by the way...I'm use to CEO type arrogance<ggg> ask a question and you will get the answer. I can tell that you have no understanding of cpq ...people at cpq in 1983 didn't have just a "job". This illustrates exactly what I'm talking about. So, ask any question and see if I can pass the test. this is one of the prsentations I gave yrs ago. exchange2000.com You wouldn't understand a single invention of mine...they are business inventions that really impact processes. I would think just being the one who figured out how to let cpq funtion off of hp3000's instead of a mainframe in the 80's would quality and being the first major ELM in the world would qualify.. but, like I said..you don't know what these are or what they encompass... further more... this started with me asking you to refute all the facts I posted about cpq and why they will not fail the next 5 qtrs. so, refute the facts I posted and quit making everything a personal attack. the thread benefits from facts and today you have posted none. may I refer to you as mr CEO<ggg> By the way, i wasn't picking on your youth. i was picking on you don't post facts which is a sign of youth.
