Brian,Tuff, lately, I have become a weekend visitor here... off T: Roth
I keep running into CFO of my company when i go the gym.

i have asked him consider salary deferal program by which an employee can choose not to get the full salary and let the company use it for
it's own growth for a small % (6%) rate.

it could help me reduce the salary so i can qulify for roth ira.
as it is i can not qualify.

also, if u plan to convert ONLY 1998 is the year that gives u option
of paying taxes over 4-5 years. if u switch in 99 u have to pay
tax all at once.

u may want to consider this option, if ur fed tax rate is lower now
then in future.

i just looked at how much tax i have paid YTD, it makes me sick
I m ready to throw up. I quit. I m not willing to work 1/2 my life
for govt who can not properly educate my kids such that i have
to do it myself.
I probably will not benefit from S.S or Medicare when i grow old.
Heck, i have never collected unemployment.
