But you're right--he also supports some of their favorite social and economic issues--no compromise on abortion (eliminate second trimester abortions, for example, a "Right to Life" amendment), a flat (or at least, flatter) tax with minimum deductions, school "choice" with vouchers, said the EPA is on a "reign of terror," and more. I take back what I said about doing well in a Democratic primary. Someone from Utah said or at least implied, I think on this thread, that he was more conservative in Utah than he would be on the national stage. I don't know. issues2000.org
