I think if we are going to fight, we need big sticks to whack all the incompetent slobs in leadership positions on the head ---- every bureaucrat and politician and university president and dean and senator and congressman and ceo. I am speaking in general terms. The problem simply is this: there is no stewardship to be found anywhere. Everyone is out for himself and herself. This is arguably excusable if one is not in a leadership role. But it is not excusable in leaders. Everywhere I look, I observe that to be our cause of our problems. Do this as an exercise. Pay attention to how all the leaders you know function every day. Are they working for themselves? Or are they being stewards?
