You will probably grow to love her. Kitties are very gentle and affectionate. Lynne will appreciate the company.

What's going to happen to the other cats and the dogs?

That's so sad. They probably had a loving home and are now in a cage.

We used to have a Balanese that looked a lot like this cat. Her name was Kiki, and she was the sweetest cat I've ever known. One day when she was 3 yrs old we found her lying dead under a rhododendron bush. We suspect she got into some anti-freeze, but we'll never know for sure. We had cats all during the time our sons were growing up. They were all wonderful pets. I think your family will really enjoy having her around.

BTW........what's her name?

I think you have just been hooked. Cats are surprisingly like dogs and worm their way into your affections quickly and easily. And Stella has a new friend.

I would put out food for the outdoor cats if possible.

Two kittens showed up at our door and stayed there all day. Their daddy told them to do this. Well, daddy and one kitty are now confirmed indoor cats. The little female continues to be shy but comes for breakfast and dinner everyday.
