David: For the most part, my ISP is doing a good job. He currently has a phone connection for every 5 customers so during the market day it has been little problem. Matter of fact an email from him this morning said 56k would be available first week in Dec and he was offering a new lower rate on ISDN--$29.95 for 64k and $59.95 on 128k. That sounds fairly cheap to me. The mainframe is on either a T1 or T3, don't remember which. The problem I'm having is with PC Quotes MarketSmart real time feed. My programmer said he has solved the problem with the feed for the mainframe (hooked into another dish or something not available to me) for OEX. It is a streaming quote just like the ones in the brokers offices. Truth is he probably swapped something (info, or time or whatever) for the feed and can't route it to me. We have solved most of the quote feed problem by me piggybacking onto the mainframe through a machine in his office which he is leaving on during the day, for now anyhow. Thanks for the suggestion.
