Dale: 600,000 at one moment. This was not a single block and so there is nothing to worry, IMO. I do not think this was a huge volume either, given that ~12 mil shares changed hands for the day.

Day traders were likely cashing out, it happen all the time. There was a 268,000 share trade at the ask (28 9/16) just prior to the close.
