I have to admit ..... I just watched Lipton today for the first time. I understand what he is saying about paying attention --- it has ancient roots. I know at least one mathematician who has models for the environmental effect on cells, but the biologists tell him that doing experiments is going to be very challenging. Someone who is positioned less than a hundred yards or so from him on any given day was just given a Nobel Prize for something in a similar field, so its not far-fetched to think he may be on to something. I watched the whole video without making a judgement beforehand or during. The stuff about belief seems to be something one either accepts or doesn't. I don't know about the other video you are referring to. I don't understand Polish though I do know reverse polish. :)
