cold turkey is the best way as it requires admitting that you are an addict and that you are finished with nicotine in any form including patches, gums, and electronic cigarettes..

Was certainly my experience..

Turned down a gift of Cuban cigars about 10 years back... knowing I'd be right back at it.... and subsequently trying to quite again.. and that hell all over again...

The vaping does seem like a reasonable compromise.. but I'll stay quit ...

uncomfortable or miserable for some months and then it is over Was many many years before the mental habit vanished.. for years after quitting I'd flip down the sun visor in my car at a stoplight.. expecting to catch the falling pack of smokes and light up.. and then realise.. Oh yeah I quit LOL.. but yes the physical rip your chest out craving was pretty well gone in about 3 months..

I agree that cold turkey is the way to go if you want to give up cigs entirely. I did that when pregnant with my first son. Did not start up again until my brother was dying of kidney cancer. I found smoking very soothing.

The point of vaping is that it is fun. It's an entirely new form of hedonism. Like smoking when you first started. There is an entire vaping subculture.

And vaping is not anywhere as dangerous as cigarettes. Public health officials calculate it's about 99% less dangerous, although that's just a guess.

Nicotine is not heroin. "Coffin nails" kill you with tar and carcinogins. Does nicotine, all by itself, cause cancer? I have been looking at this, and find no evidence that it does.

At any rate, is this a good place to consider investing? I would say no. Glycerin and nicotine are commodities, and the delivery systems almost that. I don't know much about the Chinese patent system but doubt that there is much ability to prevent knockoffs all over the world.
