I'm fond of saying... took me 6 months to learn and 20 years to quit... in reality I probably started to try to quit 10 years in... in a sense though I agree with you... you need to flip the switch... holding in position is not that easy at first... It boils down in my experience to... if you really want to quit.. you will... EDIT: I know a few folks that resumed after as much as ten years quit... I simply accept that I cannot smoke period... KyrosL has a point..
