ya ....sure today was great, but all this upbeat news and predictions of higher prices for this undervalued co. is what alot of us have been saying for the last 3 weeks now. glad the "pros" finally agree.
like i posted a couple of days ago, you need to be able to see the forest (value) thru all the CRAP.

Sheba: Believe me, not to encourage Vanni, but he has been saying positive things about QNTM on the SEG thread... <Forced to predict, I would say these stocks (QNTM aside) won't go anywhere significant for three to six months, and may start to regroup during the summer or fall. The sector could be all patched up in 1999, and then WDC and SEG could move into the 30s or even higher. Anyone cutting and pasting this out six months from now to show how stupid I am please include this: this is only a guess since there are too many variables that are hard to predict. For now, though, stay away from these stocks, other than QNTM. Sell 'em if you have 'em, take your losses and put you money to better use elsewhere. You can always buy these stocks back three to five months from now at the same price, if for some strange reason you are married to them.> methinks he loves quantum just like the rest of us. scott

Scott, take a look at Seagate's website. 9.1GB, 7200RPM, 11+MB/sec. continuous throughput .. named the "new" Medalist Pro. Specs exceed those of even IBM's latest. PC Computing has it on this month's "A" list ... at a price of just $495.00.

I own QNTM and WDC shares but the HD I want to own is now made by SEG. So far, the drive hasn't made it into the channel. When it does, look out!
