I chain smoked all my life until about 20 years ago. I have absolutely no doubt I would be dead some years back if I had not quit. And I did quit dozens of times if not more. Someone here mentioned Allen Carr and that was my freedom because it allowed me to penetrate my affliction with honest reason. I had to learn to despise smoking (my smoking--not anyone elses), and to learn that I had to get past my delusion of love and benefit. I used to always say I loved my smoking and if you cannot get past that belief you WILL go back. Cigarettes cannot tell you they don't love you so why not have love?!

Lungs full of oxygen was very uncomfortable for me as I had spent all my waking hours drugged on carbon dioxide, nicotene, and thousands of other chemicals. Oxygen took some getting used to but once my reason was onside...the seemingly impossible became rather easy.

Carr quit too late and died of cancer after showing thousands of others how to quit.
