Amazing Heinz I just bought a bunch of OPL @ .31 minutes before I opened SI to see this very helpful OPL post from you, Thanks..
.
At the current price OPL is probably a buy on the solar business alone without any value for POET. I remain extremely disappointed by and suspicious of OPL management's abilities. Nonetheless the current price compensates me for that. Had there been some sort of sensible graph like the one you just shared when they announced the Pellagrino report the upside would have been less but the downside support much stronger IMO.
They stated then there would be a fully working integrated chip "within months" , what a farce that staement turned out to be and they deserve to be considered bad managers because of it and because of the lousy attitude I encountered upon achieving contact with their CFO. Their stunningly idiotic financing after the stock lost75% of it price from the highs is hardly an endorsement either!!!!!!! Still they have no serious cash issues and no debt that will pull the rug out from under them so that is another reason why I am ok with buying up some one else's tax loss selling discards.

Cheers
