John,

When you and Joseph go out to buy a product, do you buy the absolute cheapest product available? If a product will get you from point A to point B and is cheaper, do you buy it regardless of it's brand. Do you both drive Yugos?

I personally use subway and rent cars. And I prefer Pelegrino to Perier, because the taste is superior. But I can't percieve any difference between my Pentium 166 at work and Cyrix 166 at home, (other than the $200 or so that is my wallet).

Come to think of it I buy generic drugs whenever possible. I even buy the Eckerd brand of NyQuil rather than genuine NyQuil. Formula is the same.
When people learn they can get good vlue at a low price it's hard to get them to pay a premium. Then again...some will.
