Proview Electronics owns the IPAD name in China.

Do you think Apple will change the name to the iThingy, or pay up $1.5B in damages, that they are now being counter-sued for?

I mean, Proview did sell Apple the its registered trademark name rights for "iPad" for EU, Mexico, South Korea, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam.

But they didn't sell it to Apple for China.

And Apple just lost their court case.
