In Toronto in recent years we have a large proliferation of walk-in clinics.. Many 'new Canadian' doctors also.. Stipulation is these are an in between place instead of emergency and family doc .. Lots of these docs are soliciting for patients.. of course this is anecdotal.. but there are new ones opening up all the time.. At this rate maybe they will overtake Tim Hortons and alleviate the shortage .. .. also in Ontario... squeaky wheel, advocating for oneself can really speed things along.. :O)

but yes... needs LOTS of improvement...
