Rambus' technology is a big deal. The earnings leverage is tremendous. The market discounts the future. Remember, Iomega increased from 4 to 30 (pre-split, no less) before the Zip drive hit retail shelves. Not that it hasn't been discovered, but Rambus is a much bigger deal than Zip and Jazz. RDRAM technology is being licensed for inclusion in other devices (by TXN for DSP's for example) than PC DRAM. DRAM is literally only half the revenue story for Rambus.

Now we get to hear from Bill Wexler on why Rambus is going to crash because it made a couple pennies last quarter, and has been a consistent money-loser!
