Not trying to be funny ,but ATHM (cable modem) takes 4 seconds
to download a file that takes me 25 minutes on a 56K modem.

It would have to get bogged down by more than 99% to be slower that my current 28.8 modem.

I would add that the guy who is handling this in my area, which probably now has cable modem access for 100,000 people or so,
says he is signing up about 10 per day disgusted AOL subscribers.
If this eventually is rolled out to much of the country with various cable systems, it is easy to come up with a potential serious loss of customers for AOL. (Comcast on any pullback might be a smarter
investment than AOL.)
