I meant there was no record of success yet *in reinvestment*. They've taken five years to take a good idea and make it a hit; now they have to extend that success and find new ideas to make into hits. Few companies make it this far, but far fewer manage to equal their first success. Look at Apple: billions of dollars in R&D which never reached the bottom line.
