I don't think your strategy is good if this happens - I doubt it will do much short term for the share price.

Your strategy will be widely viewed as a stroke of genius and you will realize a substantial profit.

By the worst I assume you mean something like the "going concern"
business earlier this year that caused a sharp dip in the stock.
I would recommend a GTC around 4 1/8 though as I think if there is
such another dip ahead a lot of buying will come in around 4 and it
probably won't make it to 3 1/2.
Personnally I think the present price is a good entry point and have
started buying back shares sold earlier, some Monday at 6 5/16 and
more today at 6 7/16.
