The communists invaded another society. as to the war deaths, are you proud of the fact that a modern army can invade a stone age society and be defended by a peasant army of a society that just came through two centuries of collapse and that team usa kill a lot of women and children civilians under stone bridges? In response to your above question, let me ask you: Are you proud of the fact that the more modern Chinese army invaded a closer-to-stone-age society defended by peasants (in an unmentionable part of Western China) and also killed a lot of women and children? As usual, the emperor has no clothes.
