My heritage comes from Wales, but I think before that my genes were Celtic which would link me to the Irish. The music, language, accent, landscape, vegetation, and almost everything about them appeals to me. Other cultures, besides our own, do not interest me very much.

I've heard that Enya is the richest woman in Ireland.

She does almost all of her composition and performance all by herself, I've heard, by electronically mixing and so forth.

Her music is classified as "New Age," which mystifies me. I do not know much about new age stuff except Shirley Maclean dabbled in it. Enya's music often has Christian themes to it.
