<< Craig, RE: ANCR. I noticed your mention of ANCR. I have been looking into EMLX (long). What is your take on Fibre Channel and do you have an opinion on ANCR & EMLX?
Thanks, Bill >>

Don't follow EMLX too closely but I do keep track of ANCR. I seem to have the best luck shorting ANCR rather than going long.
My advice is to stay away from it long or short. They have too many issues to deal with and FC switching just hasn't taken off yet.
You could be getting in on the ground floor of something big but it is better to wait until they show more progress and pay a little more for it. ANCR has been all over the map going from 4 to 40 and back down to 3, back up to 12 and now sitting at 6. They have had to complete multiple Reg S and Reg D financing measures to finance their operations and have never earned a dime in the 15 or so years they have been public.

If you want something that's super-hot right now check out companies that are involved with WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing). They are where the networkers were about 5 years ago.

(Much better investments than the networkers if you ask me)
