The Iranians don't exactly have good grounds to complain after the 1979 takeover of the US embassy and the recent damage to the UK's. A drone here and there, pffft, big deal, relatively speaking. The Iranians would never declare war, anyway.

When is an attack on an embassy an act of war? <There is the legality issue: when a drone attack is considered an act of war? > When is threatening to obliterate a country [which necessarily includes the people] and act of war? Iran is beyond the pale. Islamic Jihad is by definition an act of war.
