From LGE web site: "Acquisition of Zenith in 1995 facilitated advances in digital HDTV, video on demand, CD-interactive products and other multimedia applications."

It also should be noted that Zenith provides LGE with an entre into the global set-top box and cable modem markets and a distribution system into the world's most lucrative CE marketplace (as well as Brazil, Mexico and Canada).

"My objective is to nominate Bob Utne to the board of directors"

Please note that while Bob would be an excellent director, his directorship would preclude his participating on this forum. Or, let me put it more precisely--if he continued to participate, it would sure be front-page news. And it would give Zenith's counsel and directors' insurer heart-failure.

I want to congratulate you on gathering so many proxy shares. It's very impressive.

You guys can add the 100M shares that I control!

In addition, I think that we all need to harass Reuters, Dow Jones News, and Bloomberg to carry ZE's press releases. How the "full-scale deployment" of Americast digital boxes in New Orleans didn't make any services is beyond me. Check out the BLS news stories. They were printed in the Journal on the 19th regarding this event. I think the editors must be short! This is the most positive development of the year. IMO, the shorts believed the cable deal would fold.

Sincerely,

Scott
