Additionally, back in this post (http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=27733327) you state "participants of the thread cannot keep focused on what matters, the trend, and ignore the noise..." So then, I assume what you mean by non-financial noise might be as follows: 10/28, Post 82269 - Elmat posts about Sony buying Ericsson 10/28, Post 82271 - Showshoe makes a lighthearted reply to elmat's post 10/28, Post 82296 - TJ replies to Snowshoe with a post about violence at the Oakland OWS site. Please explain to the board what your reply has to do with Sony buying Ericsson. Another example: 11/3, Post 82655 - TJ posts about paper money vs hard money 11/17 Post 83348 - Snowshoe replies regarding new Canadian plastic bills 11/17 Post 83351 - TJ replies with comments about Penn St. scandal and a mother in Ohio who starved her daughter to death. What does your reply have to do with money or bills? Additionally: In this post (http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=27818908) you mention you "have no time for endless endless re ........ killings of non-combatants, and such". But surely you know that it was you who initially raised the issue of non-combatant deaths here in this post (http://www.siliconinvestor.com/readmsg.aspx?msgid=27815997). Nowhere in the prior post exchange between you and Hawkmoon was this discussed until you raised the issue, correct? All subsequent responses on that issue were due to you bringing it up in the first place. So I guess you see that you yourself are one of those contributing to the "non-financial noise" on your own board,correct? A board often takes on the character of its moderator who is responsible for setting the overall tone. After looking at the posts noted above, maybe you should put yourself on ignore.
