I have to disagree that it will have decreased dramatically
On the morning of the 27th you had a ~$33.50 stock. Anybody shorting previous to the 27th would have a VERY tidy profit in a short time and by now would have to have given some serious thought to covering that short.

Should be interesting. It would not bode well for ASND at all if short interest were to stay at approximately the same levels as you suggest.

A high short interest does not happen for no reason.
It has been shown time and time again that a heavily shorted stock is probably shorted for good reason and should be considered a negative if you were thinking about playing with that stock.

If the SI were to stay the same or actually increase, I would RUN, NOT WALK, away from this stock.

Take a look at your own figures. Increased monthly SI shows a direct correlation to the decrease in stock price.
