My understanding of short squeeze is that it is a more rapid phenomenon than 6 months. It usually lasts a few days at most, until the short interest fuel is expended. I think COMS was in one earlier this year. Today, RMBS sure looks like it started its second one this year.

I too wonder how they are taking the latest IOM movement.

As you say, we'll see.

Excuse my ignorance but are all of the ~13,000,000 option shares expiring tomorrow???/ If not then do you have the figures for the number of Put shares that will be expiring tomorrow.

Isn't this information pertinent to the number of total shares that may have to be covered ? Please explain.
