Regarding Gold.

Foreign currencies are doing worse. For e.g. Indian Rupee versus dollar is down about 15% to 18% in just over 3 months. Lot of Gold buying was done by foreigners which supported the price. That price support does not exist at the moment since folks have to shell 20% more in their currency to by same oz of coin that they bought three months ago. Even with the smacking that Gold has taken they are paying more. I don't see gold going up in meaningful way as long as these downward pressures continue or some stepped up buying in countries whose currency is strong at the moment.
